Is It Really All About The Woman In Marriage?

 

I hear married women complain, oh! He doesn't love me anymore cos he doesn't call me like he used to when we were dating,

or he doesn't buy me stuff anymore on his way from work or oh! he hardly comments me these days or he doesn't give me attention either. Many even go as far as  saying, I will not be so kind to him anymore. Marriages are a coming together of two different persons becoming one. The man is equally responsible for the outcome of the marriage as much as the woman.

I would be focusing on this particular mistake married women make  that cost them their happiness.

- Women of this age and generation believe that in marriage, the world revolves around them. She is fooled into thinking its all about me because for a while, it seemed so. the man chases you, askes you out, gets posted and has to be on top of his game till he is considered, you get to get the wedding of your dreams, everyone stands up for you when the 'when comes the bride' plays on the piano and for a minute there, you think, 'oh,its me,me me' and that same attitude into the marriage.

Listen up, the marriage is not about you. Ironically, its about your husband. Hey! I did not say so, God did. In the bible, God told the MAN, I would make you a HELPMEET suitable for you.

You, my darling, are to be his helpmeet not your own help. Investing into your husband, studying your husband, helping his dreams come true, encouraging him to live out purpose and destiny is the reason why you got married in the first place.

Yeah! its not popular opinion but I choose to remain old school, obeying God's word, it pays better.
