Three Light Make-Up Tips

Don't you wish you could roll out of bed in the morning and not have to worry about putting on a full face of makeup? It's totally possible—in fact, that's what all of the models who walked the runway at luxury cashmere brand Naadam's Fall/Winter 2015 show at New York Fashion Week did.  You don't have to be a model to pull off their tricks; Janell Gleason, Aveda's global artistic director of makeup, shared their insanely easy tips for getting gorgeous brows, lips, and skin—minimal product, time, or effort required.

1. Fill in Your Brows the Right Way

Getting full yet natural-looking brows isn't so difficult after all: Just take a brow or lash brush (one that has a spoolie like a mascara wand), rub it against an eyeliner or eye shadow that's one to two shades darker than your brow color, and brush it through your brows, suggests Gleason.

2. Soften Dry Lips

“Take an old toothbrush, put your favorite lip balm on there, and use it as an exfoliant. The friction of it works really well.” The antioxidants help smooth fine lines and keep your lips kissable.

3.  Improve Your Skin While You Sleep

To get a healthy-looking glow without makeup, cleanse your face at night with a gentle exfoliator to get rid of dead skin cells, then apply a facial oil before you go to bed.
